General Program

The CIDOC Conference 2020 in Geneva will address an important societal theme that cannot be ignored nowadays: digital transformation in cultural heritage institutions. This Conference is looking to collect first-hand experiences, bring visibility to projects implemented in that field and draw conclusions and recommendations from these contributions.

Daily program

The conference will take place from December 5  to 11 at the Museum of Art and History.

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December: CIDOC working groups and other workshops.
Monday 7 (morning): official opening of the conference.
Monday 7 (afternoon) to Thursday 10 (afternoon): parallel sessions and working groups.
Thursday 10 (morning): special session about museum archives.
Thursday 10 (afternoon): closing of the conference and general assembly of the CIDOC.
Thursday 10 (evening): closing gala.
Friday 11: excursions.

Registration fees will be fully refunded should the conference finally not take place due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Workshops and working groups

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December will be devoted to workshops and working groups related to the theme of the conference. The detailed program will be communicated at the end of June 2020.
